You are invited
Experience complimentary Psychosomatic Therapy treatments from our current students of Psychosomatic Therapy. Student clinic days are part of the practitioner training at Certificate and Masters levels.
These consultations are only available on specific days throughout the year and are fully supervised by a registered Psychosomatic Trainer & Assessor. This is an opportunity for those who are interested in Psychosomatic Therapy study to experience the classroom free of charge! *Please consider that these sessions run all day and your attendance is required for the full time.
What to expect?
At arrival you will be greeted by your student practitioner and Marie Müller, Director of the Psychosomatic Therapy College. The classroom space is a comfortable and relaxed environment aimed to support you. An introduction will commence before the first consultation begins.
After lunch the second consultation of emotional release bodywork begins where, much like a massage, clients will be on a massage table in suitable underwear attire, draped professionally, to maintain dignity at all times. Please note these treatments are undertaken in a room with other clients and practitioners but kept at a minimal number of 5 - 10 people.
By completion of the student clinic day, clients will receive educational information, personal feedback and a report to take home if applicable.
What is a Lifestyle Consultation?
A lifestyle consultation involves a relaxed pre-treatment assessment of the clients current condition, concerns or queries, injuries and/or illness. It is recommended that each client discuss any issues or concerns current in their lifestyle at this point of the student clinic day.
What is Emotional Release Bodywork?
ER bodywork is performed on a massage table while the practitioner applies pressure to specific points on the body to locate & release stored emotional blockages. Clients of emotional release bodywork may experience some discomfort, dizziness and in some cases mild bruising to the pressured areas. Communication is encouraged throughout the emotional release bodywork so that the practitioner and client can adjust the treatment as required.
What is Body-mind Analysis?
A Bodymind Analysis is a full four page report of the structure, alignment & shape of your body's condition. The body acts like a map of current & historical emotional issues which store themselves in certain areas. The illustration of this map is unraveled throughout the Bodymind Analysis and the report is available to the client to take home.
