Students learn to critically analyse and evaluate the limbs, joints, feet and hands, and their context within the bodymind condition. Learn the skills and knowledge required to perform hand and foot readings.
Trauma and emotional anatomy analysis©
Students learn to read the main archetypes of somatic distress in the human structure, the associated emotional, mental and behavioural patterning, and the possibilities for change. Students learn to establish and manage client relationships in the context of providing an ongoing health service or intervention. Learning the communication skills to effectively draw out the client, and create the trust required for effective therapy.
Apply reflective practice in a Psychosomatic Therapy role©
Students learn the skills and knowledge required to apply reflective practice as a continuous improvement strategy for a psychosomatic therapist. Students learn techniques to critically analyse and self reflect to maintain professional integrity.
Manage legal and ethical compliance

Study Load
The professional qualification, Certificate in Psychosomatic Therapy is awarded to students who complete each unit competently within 6-12 months.
Vocational Outcomes
The Certificate in Psychosomatic Therapy is a Nationally recognised Practitioner Certification, which results in the student gaining the confidence and competence to practice as a Psychosomatic Therapist and Emotional Release Bodywork Practitioner.
The Psychosomatic Process undertaken in the training aims to give you a personal experience of your attitudes and behaviours, and how they manifest in your body. Through the techniques learned, past redundant, restrictive patterns held in the tissues and physical body are released. The face to face training is available for any students who wish to experience Psychosomatic Therapy for personal development.
This training is intended to provide participants with a range of knowledge, and skills to perform the following functions associated with the (vocational) practice of Psychosomatic Therapy including:
The training pairs up perfectly with many other modalities including coaching, counselling and psychotherapy, yoga and other embodied movement practices, and massage and other bodywork.
Psychosomatic face and body reading is a skill that can be utilised in the corporate realm, through understanding the potential gifts, strengths and weaknesses in members of an organisation in order to improve performance.

International Students
The Psychosomatic Therapy College welcomes International students to study Psychosomatic Therapy while enjoying the beauty and landscape of Australia. A pre-registration interview determines English language and literacy prerequisites. Your study modules are accredited by the International Association of Psychosomatic Therapy, (INTAPT). At the completion of your studies you have the option to receive a Statement of Attainment with a record of outcome for each module or if you obtain a USI unique student identifier throughout your stay in Australia with a visa which allows study you are eligible for an Accredited qualification Certificate once you are deemed competent in requirements of Psychosomatic skills and knowledge.
